What the weather's like!
The leaves have fallen from the trees, and the air is chilling cold. It's good sleeping weather, but not the best for joing on a Journey. Snow comes regularly in different amounts--one day it's a light snowfall and the next it's a blizzard. The constant road closings and lack of avalable snow plows makes traveling tough, but it's easier if you have a Fire Pokemon. It's the perfect weather for Ice-types, and Water- and Dark-types don't mind it either. But this weather is torture for Fire-, Grass-, Bug-, and Ghost-types, and most of the Flying types have flown south for the winter.

Find out what's happening!
December 31st

HAPPY 2009 EVERYONE (whoops.. almost typed "1009" XD)!

It's a big day for Kuraizuki, and I know everyone's been eager for it. YES, new Staff and our first OTMs! I don't want so spoil the surprise, so look around for yourself and see x33 THAT NEW STAFF WAS ONE TOUGH DECISION, SO THOSE WHO WERE DECLINED, DON'T FEEL DICSOURAGED! I don't really have much else to say, so everyone have a happy Year of the Cow (it is the year of the Cow, right? My new year's tee shirt on animal crossing said it was...)

ANYWAY, HAPPY NEW YEAR

[ ]Kiroringo Tokai (1 sub-board)
“Yellow Apple City” For those trainers coming from another city, they dock here. It is a bustling port City with many people and office buildings, tucked into a valley between the mountains. The streets are always busy and there are shops all around. This is where all young trainers begin their journey, first heading to Professor Shou’s Pokémon Laboratory to receive their starter Pokémon.
832
[ ]Route 121
Upon leaving Kiroringo City via the path out of Professor Shou’s Laboratory, you head up the path into the mountains. This rough ground with unmarked paths and few trees is a tough place to start a journey, and only the bravest trainers make it through the mountains to the town on the other side. Lots of wild Pokémon roam through these areas, though if you venture too far into the mountains, you might encounter a Pokémon a little too out of your league…
18576
[ ]Kirainaka Taun (1 sub-board)
“Beautiful Countryside Town” Once you make it out of the mountains, a path runs down into this small town, hidden right at the base of the mountains, and there’s nothing ahead but beautiful countryside, being farmed and tended to. The town is fairly active, with some shopping and the first Pokémon Gym in the region.
9237
[ ]Route 122
You think as you leave Kirainaka Town that you’re going to be venturing through the open fields of the countryside. WRONG. You head east, into a more forested area until you reach Kasa Cave, or “Umbrella Cave”. It is pitch black, and unless you have a Pokémon to illuminate this area, you’re screwed. The paths through are thin and there are many dead ends and boulders to block your path. Many Pokémon live here, though they all anger very easily. Watch your step.
18
[ ]OboeruKino Tokai (1 sub-board)
“Remember Yesterday City” Once you finally get out of Kasa cave, you emerge straight into Oberukino City. This city is full of power plants and skyscrapers, and some of the air is polluted. It’s a bit of a run-down place, with abandoned buildings and dark alleys with gangs hanging around. A crime-ridden city; if you don’t listen to the thieves, you’ll be in for one heck of a battle against their electric Pokémon.
33
[ ]Route 123
Heading out of the City, you head through a rock field where many strange stone statues are hanging around. The area Is sandy and sandstorms commonly happen, though there are small underground caverns that provide shelter. Many ground, rock, and grass-type Pokémon roam around here. Though watch out; there are common tremors that cause rockslides.
00
[ ]Amemizu Taun (1 sub-board)
“Rainwater Town” At the end of Route 123 is an oasis—and it’s raining. It’s always raining in this town, though the residents don’t seem to mind. They grow marsh plants and the buildings are spread far apart, for they all have large gardens in the back. Directly when you enter the town, the Pokémon Center and PokeMart are on the left, and right across the street is the Gym. There’s also a herbal shop here.
44
[ ]Route 124
Heading out of Amemizu Town, you’re heading through deep, sticky marshland. Mud is everywhere, and it’s very easy to get stuck. Water, Ground, and Bug Pokémon are swarming everywhere, just waiting to get in your path. Heavy storming is constant here, and it gets hard to see. Trees are scattered, some half-sunken in the mud. It’s rumored that there’s an entrance to an underground cavern in the center of the marsh, where all the water drains, and that ancient Pokémon live there…
00
[ ]Hanapan Tokai (1 sub-board)
“Flower – Bread City” Upon coming from the marsh, covered in mud and tired, you enter a beautiful aroma town. There are flowers everywhere, and happy people roam the streets. This is definitely a tranquil city, though it has its dark side in the alleys. A large bread shop is located here, where you can try free samples and get all types of bread for yourself and your Pokémon. There is no gym in this town; instead there is a Contest Hall where aspiring coordinators or trainers can come and try and win a ribbon.
44
[ ]Route 125
Leaving the City, you’re heading through open fields full of aroma trees that honey can be put on to attract Pokémon. There are scattered types of Pokémon located here, though most are gentle and uncaring, and they all want to be left alone. If you try to catch them you’ll be in for a battle! As you continue on, the path splits, and it’s your choice whether you head left or right…
00
[ ]Mt. Hikawa
“Mt. River of Fire” If you head left off Route 125, you’re heading straight into the mountains again, right through the heart of Mt. Hikawa—an active volcano. There are tons of Fire Pokémon roaming here, and it gets very hot very fast as you head inside. Lava bubbles left and right, and if you’re not careful, you’re about to be fried.
00
[ ]Omoshiroiasa Taun (1 sub-board)
“Interesting Mountain Town”, this place is build directly over the mouth of the volcano. The paths are made of steel, but are chilled by a cooling plant that rests at the lip of the volcano. The entire place is made of steel, and despite the lava bubbling below the steel paths, it’s nice and cool here. A gym rests at the head of the city, sitting right on top of the lava.
33
[ ]Atsui Sato
“Hot Path” You head down a steamy path, leaping over rocks and stumbling down a bumpy steam vent. It’s a short, quick path that is steep enough that it’s impossible not to run clumsily down. Prepare to be beaten up.
00
[ ]AisuKuchi Iwaya
“Ice Mouth Caverns” Take the right path on Route 125, and you’re heading far, far away to a frozen valley, where blizzards are always raging. Bring your heavy coat and snow boots, for that snow is a minimum of three feet tall. Ice- and Water- types love it here, especially towards the Frozen River that lay right before the caverns. It’s a vast, icy river with floating bergs of ice, and there are no bridges. Once you get across, you reach the Caverns, where you’ll head down a very steep, slippery pathway, where you’ll then reach the village that lays deep underground here.
00
[ ]Yukikudamono Sato (1 sub-board)
“Snow Fruit Village” Deep in AisuKuchi caverns lays this tiny, frozen village. It’s located on the shores of Frozen Lake, which is where Frozen River drains. The walls of the large cavern are all made of ice, and snow has been plowed down here to make the ground less-slippery. The small little houses are made of wood or concrete bricks, and they all have large water heaters sitting outside their buildings.
33
[ ]Retsu Keiro
“Cold Path” Heading back upwards from Yukikudamono Village, this slippery, ice-covered path is hard to climb. You’ll wind up slipping back down, though if you look hard enough, there’s a path off to the right that isn’t as frozen and the ice is thin—though it easily shatters.
00
[ ]Route 214 (1 sub-board)
This is where the two roads come together. This place can’t decide what it’s climate is, and the weather changes constantly. One minute it’s raining, the next minute there’s a sandstorm, and the next minute it’s hailing. It’s rumored that a giant Castform rules over this valley, and regular ones are commonly seen here. Most of them don’t like humans, though. There’s a beaten road off the path where many adventurers have tried to head into Castform Valley, though none had returned alive, and the path is blocked off unless you have some Weather Powder. Beware of the constant weather changes.
00
[ ]Taiyoame Tokai (2 sub-boards)
“Sunny Rain City” The weather city. This City is affected by the weather of Route 214, and has an enormous weather station with large satellites and lots of blinking lights. There are many Castform hanging around here that belong to the crew. On the front of the building is a large screen where the weather station is displayed 24-7. There’s no PokeMart in this City.
22
[ ]Route 213
The forest is incredibly thick here, and it’s commonly drizzling. This place looks like a hurricane hit it; there’s debris and fallen trees everywhere, making the area very difficult to get through. The trees shade the area completely, making it very dark and hard to see. Ghost-, Dark- , Flying- and Grass-type Pokémon are the most common around here, and like to pop out and scare trainers before making them battle. At the end of the beaten path, you see a cute little building tucked deep in the trees.
00
[ ]Kankoku Ie
“The Kitchen House” It’s a transition building between Routes 213 and 241. Upon entering, there’s a little counter on the left with a young man sitting behind it, reading a magazine, bored. Upon speaking to him, he mumbles, “Have a good day”. To the right is a healing machine, and next to it is a PC. Heal your Pokémon, altar your party, or head upstairs and chat with other trainers or look out over Kuraizuki. There’s another door at the back on the second floor that leads to Route 241.
00
[ ]Route 241
You’re emerging from the door right onto an old, creaky bridge with no sides that drops down into a deep canyon in which is shrouded in mist… and you can’t see the bottom. Once you get to the other side, it’s nothing but open, deserted farmland with abandoned barns and fields. Wild Ponyta and Miltank run through the fields, and Rattata, Hoothoot and Duskull inhabit the old barns. A small stream runs adjacent to the path, where you can find Remoraid. Finally you see a town in the distance, and the only thing behind it is vast ocean…
00
[ ]Uminetsu Tokai (5 sub-boards)
“Ocean Fever City”A bright, beautiful Port City, where all the people are very wealthy. The population is very high, and all the people are very happy. The Debei Company is here, which is the equivalent to the Devon Company in Hoenn. This City also doesn’t have a Pokémon Center, instead it is home to a five-star Hotel. It also doesn’t have a Poke’mart; it has a department store, plus a Pokémon Gym. In addition, there’s a bread-making house and a Contest Hall, making it the largest and best City in the Kuraizuki Region.
33
[ ]Uminetsu Port
You head out of the City towards the Port side of it, ready to continue on your adventure by heading across the ocean to Route 349. You can either wait it out and hop on a boat, or climb onto a Pokémon and have them take you across. It’s very busy, and there are sailors and large sailing boats and cruise ships and carrier barges everywhere.
11
[ ]Route 349
This is a simple path that runs along a river, but don’t be fooled—this is no simple place. Everyone who comes here has a feeling of being watched, and when they start to run to escape it—it’s all over. Something leaps out of the water and knocks you out cold, pulling you into the river. When you wake up, you’re in a strange cavern, and it’s going to take you hours to get out.
00
[ ]Aukuko (2 sub-boards)
“Blue Airport” The entire City is an airport! There are planes taking off left and right, and it’s incredibly busy here. There are shops everywhere, selling all kinds of things, including food, souvenirs, clothes, electronics… anything! Lots of Debei products are sold here. If a girl in a kimono runs into you, congratulations! You just won a Poketech with every feature! There’s also a Contest Hall here.
44
[ ]Gate A12
In the Airport, this is where you’ll take off. The lady at the desk at this gate will mark on your map the location of the next town, where you’re going to have to fly—for it’s a city in the sky. You’ll either have to hop on a plane, or use your Flying- or Dragon-type Pokémon to carry you (but only if they can learn the HM Fly).
11
[ ]Kurohi Tokai (4 sub-boards)
“Black Day City” This city is located in the sky! Using state-of-the-art technology, it uses ultra magnets to repel off of the magnetic poles of the earth, thus making it float. The city received it name because no matter what time of day it is or what angle you look from, there sun is always blocked out by the moon here, making an infinite eclipse. Scientists fail to figure out why that happens. The city’s buildings float on individual platforms, and floating paths connect them all. The Grand Festival and the Elite Four are located here, and only the best of the best can even make it to this City. Don’t forget the Hall of Fame here as well.
33
:: Off the Beaten Path ::
[ ]Ki Lounge (1 sub-board)
“Tree Longue” a place for trainers to hang out, relax, battle, trade, anything! It’s a large, open room with couches, large chairs and bookshelves, as well as a café, a PC, battlefields, and a nice tile floor with carpets spread across in select areas. It’s a nice, quiet place to unwind and enjoy yourself.

“Hapiness Canyon” Don’t be fooled—this is no happy place. This is the bottom of the canyon on Route 214. You can’t see the top, and everything above you is shrouded in mist. It is always very cool here, and ice- rock- and ground- types like to hang around in this area. Be very careful of falling rocks and cracks in the ground. If you venture far enough, you might even reach Gojuunensai Kikoku.

“South Museum” This place is deserted and in ruin. Thieves swiped through this area, so there’s nothing left except for the floor tiles, and even some of those had been taken out. The museum is three stories tall, though on the higher stories some of the floor is missing. There’s a secret door that leads to a basement, where thieves might not have reached… Many Ghost-Type Pokémon hang around here, as well as lots of Normal-types.

“Ominous Void” You venture through one of those forests on the side of the road, and you see a dark, purplish-black shape that’s slowly spinning and changing its shape in a clearing up ahead. Going over to it, it’s a strange thing, and you decide to approach it it violently sucks you into a strange place, where the sky is a dark purple and strange stars glow. This place has no end, and it goes on forever… unless you can get a Pokemon to Transport you out. Good thing this is a place where Psychic-type Pokemon live, as well as some Dark-types.

“Darkwater Forest” A simple forest with lots of clearings for training or Pokemon battles. There are incredibly tall trees here that span hundreds of feet. Grass- and Bug- Type Pokemon love it here, and flying-types can be seen soaring overhead, but they’re not going to come down for you.

“The Northern Desert” this place is completely deserted, with tumbleweeds and everything. All the plants are dead and it’s always from 90 to 120 degrees. There’s a small dirt path that branches in two directions, leading either to the Hot Springs or the Power Plant. Hippopottas, Cacnea, Baltoy, Aron, and Trapinch are the only Pokemon that can be found here.

“Starry Raven Town” A small town in the middle of nowhere, where it is always dark and lifeless. It never rains, it never snows, and the sun never shines. This town is stuck in time; it is always a dim twilight and all the trees are dead. The houses are wooden shacks, and some of the shingles on the roof are missing. Murkrow are always sitting in the trees, watching over the zombie-like people that live here. There is no Pokemon Center or PokeMart here, though there is a small inn. If you head west out of town, you’ll find the Karasu Entrance to Castform Valley.

[ ]Team Dark Renegade Base (2 sub-boards)
Team Dark Renegade is a band of nasty crooks, and their base rests deep in a thick forest, spread out over eight acres. This place is enormous, and its winding hallways make it almost impossible to navigate if you don’t have a map like the DR Minions do. Guards are at every automatic door, patrolling the halls, and buzzing around doing work. If you want to try and be the hero to save the day, you’re going to have to do a lot of work to get through this mess. If you can reach the Boss in the center and beat her, well, you’ll take over the organization. If you’re already a Minion, then this is your place to come hang out! There are training areas and crash courses for new members of the Team, as well as applications for a higher rank in the organization.

The stretch of sand reaches for miles along the shore, where large boulders line the inner edge to make it private.
